West Liberty Child Care Center

Louis & Ida Rich Child Care Center

The Louis & Ida Rich Child Care Center was officially open August 2, 1999.

A generous gift from Martin Rich and Normal Rich, sons of Louis & Ida Rich, was instrumental for the funding and construction of the Center. Martin and Norman Rich chose to remember their parents by naming the Center in their honor.

The Rich Family also wanted to express their appreciation to their associates and the people of West Liberty for contributing to the success of Louis Rich Foods, Inc.

The Center’s purpose is to meet the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child. We strive to achieve this by providing a safe and appropriate physical environment, a professional and caring staff, a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and an atmosphere of love and respect.

We aspire to provide: creative and challenging experiences that will encourage positive relationships with staff and peers; that will promote a healthy curiosity about the world around us; and that will prepare children to be enthusiastic about and successful in their future experiences. The Center should be a happy place to learn and grow.
